Lee Min Ho may be all smiles in the Faith BTS photos but for this new teaser, he is looking very hot and very angry. Not in the I’m-screaming-my-head-off type of angry but the menacing kind where I want to hide underneath the blankets to avoid pissing him off.
I really want to know how and why General Choi brings back Yoo Eun Soo to the past. As far as we know, he kidnaps her to treat people in Goryeo but how did he travel to the future in the first place? Can he go back and forth? Is Yoo Eun Soo trapped in Goryeo at the mercy of General Choi? With Queen In-Hyun’s Man having done so well with the time-travel guidelines, my expectations are even higher for Faith’s veteran writer, Song Jin-ah. I can’t wait for my imagination to explode with this drama.
The teaser doesn’t give us much information about the storyline but is does give us a bit more of the initial interaction between our Goryeo era General Choi and modern plastic surgeon, Yoo Eun Soo. Doesn’t look like there going to be any puppies or rainbows for this couple. I’m getting the impression that General Choi is going to be the quiet type, since his love of sleeping won’t leave much time for him to chat. He looks like he is going to more of the I’m-gonna-communicate-with-my-eyes type of character. Yoo Eun Soo looks pretty sassy, at least in the modern era, until she is shaking in her boots in Goryeo. But I’m sure a 660-year time jump with a sword-wielding warrior will make anyone’s liver shrink a little.
And the Kim Hee Sun- Lee Min Ho pairing is really growing on me. I almost don’t notice the age difference now.

I watched BOF, Personal taste and City hunter…. never been crazy about him, I liked him more as an actor… But boy…. he looks INSANELY HOT in all those Faith pics and videos… he actually made my heart flutter for the first time
I don’t know the leading actress…. if their onscreen chemistry won’t work for me… I can always stare at LMH
That’s my plan too but knowing the writer, I know that at least I will be able to enjoy a well-written story.
Other than it looks kinda cool, and of course, LMH looks incredibly hot, I don’t have a feel for this show.
I like action and terror and effective evil people being threatening.
I HATE it when the bad guys keep getting it wrong, and the good guys look like the are going to fail but at the last second, they win!!! YAY! But then, the bad guys are still there. Why are the same bad guys making the same stupid mistakes?
(I just described Kim Suro, and that is why I couldn’t finish it.)(And some parts of WBDS.)
I hope once the bad guys are beat, they stay beat, like City Hunter. If this is like City Hunter, I will be happy.

Thank you very much Joonni, for keeping us updated while we are waiting for the drama. I am glad they started filming somewhat early, and I hope that their filming schedule will continue to be ahead of the episodes they will be releasing as time goes by. Besides looking forward to seeing LMH in a new drama as well as being introduced to many of his fellow actors/actresses (it will be my first time seeing them act, for most of them), I really wish them well and I really hope that they won’t have any on the set accident and that if sleep deprivation can not be avoided, that at least it won’t run them to the ground, as it has been known to happen. I just want them to do well and enjoy the experience of doing this drama and their time together, and learn a lot as well.
I’m also glad that they are getting so much filming in before hand, especially because it looks like they will be using a considerable amount of CG. Yay for high quality!

I have written on your blog before, (QIHM’s days and what happened behind the scenes, I think) but this is my first time hearing directly from you, Yay!!!! and “Thank You!” (I sound very excited right now
). You have a really beautiful site and I loved your enthusiasm about QIHM and again thank you keeping us updated about JIW and YIN all this time. I really do wish them well and I personally welcome any (proven and checked) information you will have about either one as a couple and as actor/actress. It’s almost like having a drama after the drama, and in this drama, they seem to be doing well 
(yay for them). I also find info on JIW and YIN through their pages on Facebook (and the page on QIHM), so please don’t feel pressured to post news about their personal lives on my account. I just wanted to let you know that I personally appreciate how much you care about this couple and who they are as people and actors. Through your threads and posts, we are given the opportunity to know them better and I appreciate that a lot. I am always curious about who is behind the “star/celebrity” that we see. What makes them tick, how do they approach their work, what are the events that help shape them into who they are today? What are their hopes and dreams? How can I pray for them?
When all the lights are off, and there are no glamour pictures to be taken and no forced smile to show, they are people just like us (ok, kind of. I personally would not want the celebrity status and their level of exposure on my life. I do appreciate the work that they do, however). I don’t know about you, but when I like an actor or actress, I find myself caring about their well being and what happens to him/her (not in a creepy way, I am no sasaeng fan) but in a “I wonder how they are doing today” kind of way. I am sure (based on the way I have seen you write about them) that you know what I mean. All my rambling to let you know that I truly appreciate all that you do, recaps and all.
Now, on to my question (finally,
): what are “CG?” Also, I loved the comment you made somewhere (regarding the Olympics) that you don’t want to come home from a long and hard day at work to see someone swim (I thought that was funny, and yay, I wouldn’t either. How is that supposed to take your mind off of things and off of the real world? [I am shaking my head...]). In all fairness however, I am welcoming the slight break from dramas. I could use it before the new batch of dramas starts, and those athletes have worked hard to prepare for the competitions. They should at least have the opportunity to showcase their talent and hard work

Speaking of learning more about the celebrities…I was watching an American talk show called Charlie Rose recently and actors often come out and they talk about their acting method. I wish there were more stuff like that in Korea. Unfortunately, most of the interviews are very superficial.

I’m actually watching the opening ceremony as I am typing this. I think I get more upset about Olympics taking over my Korean variety than my dramas, because you’re right. It’s nice to get a break from them.
I’m excited to watch the Olympics, especially gymnastics and swimming. Been my faves since childhood.
