“Queen In-Hyun’s Man….”
One year later.
After finishing “New Jang Hee Bin,” Hee-Jin is now a star and is very busy.
Then one day, Hee-Jin receives an offer from a director (in the education department***) to narrate a documentary.
The director hands Hee-Jin a script titled, “Queen In-Hyun’s Man”…
***Just want to clarify that the Korean suggests that it is the educational programming department of a television station. So it would be a PD/director from that department.***

a director form an education department? yeah mighty fishy, sounds to me like smarty pants found his way to 2012 and is trying to jar her memory.

what if, when he burnt the talisman he could go back to 2012, but HJ lost her memories, he is too but he got the letter? can’t think of anything… *at the edge of craziness here*
Remember last time it was him who lost the memories while she remembered it was a dream… maybe now… he remembered it (not as a dream = I mean HJ is famous) and she lost her memories. He is lucky to get back and definitely trying hard to make her remember! she probably has no memory or thinks it was all a dream. poor smarty pants he has probably spent a year figuring out how to get back and then how to get her to remember him.
I wonder how they twist the ending..hoping for happy and memorable ending..am i crazy if i dislike the idea of losing memory?hehehe

I have never wanted to speed up time as much as I do now. Curses to the writer & director… Love them both and hate them both to death for causing this much anxiety in me for the past month & a half. Anxiety due to a drama…. goodness.
WTH ?? One year later? My brain cannot compute this? Does this mean he remembers cos of the letter he wrote, or he still retained the memories? How many more hours to go ??
Some one else mentioned that he might retain his memories because the amulet had already lost its power. He can’t have a complete memory wipe out like last time because there is no one around to remind him about critical things like the fact that -he is dead- in Joseon.
If he did find his way back, and ever hoped to meet up with HJ again, the place for him to work would be at a TV station. Documentary at an education dept would suggest that the script is part of ancient historical literature. That means he wrote the story (letter seems too vague) in detail in Joseon times and it has now been found. And some one in this time believes that that was fact and not fiction. Oh, happy giggles.

The producer Kim Young Kyu said about the intense concern by the audience to the ending, “I know a lot of viewers is expecting a happy ending. About the ending, hope that everybody stays tuned to the end. In order to become a memorable ending, we’re preparing various devices. Especially the last episode will have progress that is beyond imagination, do look forward to it.”

BD, I don’t mind even if you have a wishy-washy explanation for how you found your way back. (Time machine is also ok). Just be back, be safe, and be hard at work worming your way back into her heart. Please, please pretty please.

tarianant, Going by the episode mood swings, we’ve had the giddy week (10,11), whammy week (13,14), this is the mixed week. We had the half giddy half whammy episode 15 . So the next one should be half whammy and half giddy.. You know, just to balance things out.

I think it is a happy ending..in a way, no doubt. Hee-jin will live to her fullest but is it with uri Kim Boong-do? THE uri Kim Boong-do? That’s the question..
Yes. I mean please tell us, we really didn’t subject ourselves to the emotional tortures of all the arrows and the swords and the death and the funeral and the mourning just to have them end up in two different time z!ones. Cause and effect be damned.

I’m actually O.K. with a one year time jump. After all…there are no rules about *when* someone becomes aware of immeasurable-soul-sucking-loss (like losing a Boong-Do)….it could be gradual for both of them, rather than instant…
OR….we could get a full blast of both of them searching every corner of their worlds to find a way to re-unite.
I’m going on sheer FAITH here….time…meant them to be together (as they are, not re-incarnates)……chanting ► happy ending. ommmmmhappy ending…. ommmmmm ~~~

@madsu – Isn’t it crazy (GOOD) that this show has remained excellent right up to the last episode? I can’t remember the last time I re-watched every epi of a drama…3 times.
Seriously…at least once Raw..then 2 more subbed. All of it too…no sliding the scroll bar to get past the boring bits.
Being cable, this show will undoubtedly miss out on the premiere awards (sad face)…but I’m hoping the PD’s have the good sense to get it stamped into DVDs…. PRONTO. …my wallet is ready. 🙂
Really? I don’t know how this works, but if this show misses a nomination, korean drama awards should be ashamed of themselves. This show is a-ma-Z-ing. I have also watched the first episodes more times than I care to count. I am so buying the DVD the moment it hits the stores.
@madsu – others here may correct me, but from what I’ve observed of K-pop&drama awards, for 3 years is….they’re blatantly rigged. (which is not to say that west culture awards shows aren’t exactly the same, they most likely are)….
Additionally, consider the show ‘Moon that Embraces the Sun’ had a 40% viewer count…on Public television.
for Cable 1% is considered—excellent.
So ~like many things…it’s up to the fans to make some noise! woot woot!

I think I’m going to be crazy waiting for tomorrow to watch RAW…. before I actually read the recap… to feel the tense… Hope they’ll get their happy ending :))))))
l agreed with you, Sally B and madsu. l’ve re-watched their single episode without forwarding any moment 3 times ( of course few scenes, l watch more times..he..he). This drama is amazing. Every bit is excellent. You just simply dont want to miss it. All episodes are worth watching, there’s giddy moment, sad, happy, heart beating, action, blood, hate, kiss and kiss again. You really feel that you actually together with the cast in this drama.
l believe the crews are cracking their head for ending that satisfy everybody. Otherwise this drama will be like other k-dramas.
