New layout!
Because I’m a compulsive organizer, my old layout was starting to bug me. It was just too linear for my obsessive compulsive sensibilities. 🙂
I decided to use this layout because it feels a little more condensed and allows a variety of post formats such as audio, video, gallery, and image. Hee, I’m hoping to use all those formats. 😀
While I can’t have rotating headers, I would still love it if any of you lovely readers make some for me. I want to change the header every day or so. You will be credited in the “About” page.
Since putting a image header means I can’t have a tagline, the header needs the blog name, “Scattered Joonni” and the tagline line, “Writing Korean Pop Culture, One Painstaking Word at a Time” (or any version of the tagline as you see fit).
The size of the image should be 1000X200.

Actually, your need to “organize” yourself is what is making your site such a draw to so many people. It’s reflected in the way you present your thoughts, as well. And, since your thoughts are creative, the results are exceptional. Be proud that you work this skill for maximum results. I am so happy you came out of the blog closet!!!!

Nope, I used a theme provided by wordpress. I thought it would be easier to set up up but it actually took so much time. WordPress is that not that integrated, unfortunately.

The new site look great! I really like it! The only problem is that I first assessed your new site from mobile and there was nothing! Nothing! I nearly got a heart attach and immediately check for it on my computer to find out that you have just changed the layout! While it is definitely your choice to put whatever you want on the mobile site, I would love to be able to access yours on the go, where I mostly am. But I will definitely continue to lurk your site whenever I have a computer in sight as it is such a pleasant experience enjoying your writing. Fighting!

I just read at InHyun Soompi thread at page 234 that In Na mentioned @jooni in her radio program. Wondered if she mentioned you cos she was talking about international fans listening to her program. Or perhaps I misinterpreted it.

Aw, thank you! There’s a fine line between being critical and being mean and I try not to cross that line. I’m highly aware that everyone has their own perspective and reason for liking or disliking something and I want to respect that. And if I do have mean thoughts, I try to keep it inside. It’s just not worth it to say it or write it out loud especially when it will just bring together more hate.
Yipe, forgot to mention that I’m not able to see any content when viewed on iPhone.

I was lurking on your site yesterday and was noticing the changes you were making to the blog (I do believe it was organized a little differently with many more tags on top? kekeke~) It’s looking so sleek and professional now. ❤ Unfortunately, I'm not graphically inclined but know that you still have my 100% support and appreciation/love for your hard work on this blog!

The layout is really great. The pictures look very nice with the new layout. But……. sorry i have a request… can the number of comments for each article be shown in the main page. i just love to read comments…. if the number increases, it tells me there are new comments to read.
That is one problem I can’t fix at this moment. I would have to do some major customization on this theme and I don’t know code well enough to do that. I apologize!!!!!
