Previews for the First Episodes of “Arang and the Magistrate” and “Faith”

With the premiers of Faith and Arang and the Magistrate only one week away, brand new teasers for each drama have been released today to keep us satiated until we can get our grubby little hands on our real drama-crack. Unlike the previous ones, these look like actual previews for the first episode of each drama series. Yay!

Jo Il-shin (Lee Byung-joon): Do you know who she is? She is a Yuan princess. Do you know what will happen if we let her die?

King Gong-min (Ryu Deok-Hwan): Do you also think that, Woodalchi leader (referring to General Choi)?

General Choi (Lee Min-ho): I’m just a warrior so I don’t know politics.

Jo Il-shin: There’s a doctor near here.

Jo Il-shin: The *something unintelligible* door has opened, King!

King Gong-min: While I can’t believe all this…

General Choi: Just give your orders.

Not a lot of Eun-soo (Kim Hee-sun) in the first episode? Still, so excited.

Arang (Shin Mina): One day when I opened my eyes, I was following the Reaper. But something was weird. Hard as I tried, I couldn’t remember who I was.

Eun-oh (Lee Junki): I won’t talk to *something unintelligible* people like you.

Arang: I can read on your face that you lost your mother.

Eun-oh: Do you want to die?

Arang: I’m already dead.

*I’m not sure about this* King of the Underworld (Park Jun-kyu): *something intelligible* What are you going to do about all the souls that disappeared? It’s been four hundred years!

Eun-Oh: If that child (referring to Arang) regains her memories, I might be able to find a clue about mother.

Eun-oh: I’ll find it for you. Your name.

Arang: Did you (referring to Eun-oh) listen to me with your foot?

I love the bickering dynamic between Eun-oh and Arang. So cute! Oh, you know that tattoo that Arang sports on her neck? It’s a mark that identifies her as a ghost. Every ghost has their own unique tattoo.

Faith premiers next Monday, August 13. Arang and the Magistrate premiers next Wednesday, August 15. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

    *squeals in excitement*

My-oh-my! Very promising teasers! I saw some blue light coming out of Lee MIn Ho’s hand…so does that mean he really has some powers? The door with the blinding light probably was the way towards another dimension – present day Soeul. So that’s where Lee Min Ho got through and kidnapped Kim Hee Sun. Now, I really have to watch Faith so badly…please Monday come soon… 😀

Arang…I almost forgot…I so find the bickering between Shin Min-ah unnie and Lee Jun-ki oppa cute! Every time I see her in sageuk clothing, it makes me miss Miho a lot! I think Arang and the Magistrate gives off more of a fantasy-fusion-sageuk rom-com vibe that everyone will love. ❤

      I think it’s a one-time deal for Minho’s powers.

There’s definitely more rom-com in Arang. I hope the comedy is executed well.

  3. Both seem like they are going to be epic.
Faith for the action and intrigue, and Arang for the fun moments between the OTP.

    Praying subs are fast!

Thanks for feeding the addiction, Joonni!

Faith sounds a bit more serious than Arang, definitely. I’m hoping that neither will disappoint.
