Okay, my honest opinion. I’m glad that wasn’t the original broadcast ending. It’s hot and squee-worthy but it doesn’t really fit into the overall tone of the drama. I mean, the kiss was already hotter than most and had people squealing. Imagine if this version aired….We would have forgotten everything else about the ending. Plus, it would have been another source of gossip for the real couple.
But for all fans of this drama, I’m sure this clip produced a complete men-boong moment, the “I can’t believe they filmed this for a K-drama” moment. The “Wha…what?!” moment. The “Holy #%*&! What did I just watch?” moment. Hee!

oh my ! that is not meant for public consumption. I agree, it does not fit the overall tone of the drama. I wonder why was this scene even planned for? I feel we just watched something we were not supposed to. after watching this, makes me wanna re-watch QHIM. There a HUGE vacuum after Answer Me 1997.
the director was naughty, he knows that the lead actor was already head over heels to his leading lady, so he gave him the opportunity to devour her using the name of shooting. smooch

i’m really glad they didn’t broadcast this ending, the mood was all off, and would have really put a huge spotlight on the couple. i thought the original ending was steamy enough.
(but i’m glad this made the director’s cut, and also after their relationship already went public and JHW is in the army).

Wait…WUT? Ahahahahaha! This is actually no different than some of the steamy scenes in “I Need Romance 2012” but yea – this wouldn’t have fit in with the story at all! I personally think the director just wanted to watch these 2 kiss/make out/steam up his camera over and over again.

since the drama was well directed , I would say the director is just doing a favor to the lead acotr, who knows they boong do secretly ask for this scene, men talk eh! ^^
would a smart scholar from the past really throw his sense of propriety so totally out of the window? I doubt that…the original ending was hot already and more believable and sweet…this is too americanized for my taste and looses its sweetness.

Hyun Bin is such a good and intense kisser but that was for a movie! Although he did kiss Song Hye Gyo very well in “Worlds Within” too. Thanks for the clip!

I think my mouth was wide opened as I watch this directors cut!!? Then my jaw fell to floor afterwards!!?? All I could say is “Wow”!! This ending doesn’t fit in the story line. I may worked/live in Americanized city. But my value/virtu will always be noble for this Drama. Even though I saw some steemy scenes!! Thanks Joonni
