Be ready to go through a major emotional rollercoaster just from three sentences. Because the last two episodes have been so fantastic, it felt like we reached the climax of the story so I was expecting things to wind down. What I forgot was that we have eight more episodes so there is a lot more story to tell and a lot more boundaries to push. And yeah, this drama is out to really test our characters, as well as our mental endurance. But it’s the kind of ride I love taking and I can’t wait for what the drama has in store for us.
Episode 17 Written Preview
To save Choi Young from a dire trap, Eun-soo makes an agreement with Deok Heung. Upon hearing the news, an angry Choi Young runs to Eun-soo to ask her to stay next to him. Gongmin orders Young to seize the palace, while Deok Heung, joining hands with Ki Chul, plans to mount an attack on Hyun Go Chon (Gongmin’s current temporary residence).
My first instinct was to scream “No!!!!!” when I read that Eun-soo makes an agreement with Deok Heung. But then I realized that was really Eun-soo’s only choice. If the dream that she had was a memory from her a previous time-slip (or something), whatever choice she made before, it was too late to save him. So it makes sense that this time, Eun-soo does something different to make sure Young lives.
This picture was posted at the “Faith” DC gallery. I guess it is what Eun-soo is going to wear being whatever Deok Heung gives her as a position next to him.
So accepting that Eun-soo is going to end up being next to Deok Heung…omg…we are going to get so much angsty and jealous Young. This fangirl approves. I love me the jealous angst.

City Hunter is awesome. I recommend it. Lots of badass LMH and angsty shower scenes. And a great scooby gang.
You have to watch City Hunter.. you will fall more in love with LMH. XD He looks really great in that drama and his fighting scenes are just amazing!

very true about his cute behind- it’s not your typical flat asian butt. I saw him back in 09′ as he walked to his car with his bodyguards after the Trugen fan signing event- that good looking bodyguard was there that day too. LMH likes his skinny jeans, but I guess as long as he remains tall and lean, it will always look good on him. Not that many guys can pull it off well, but he is one of the few that can. 🙂
Personally I like guys with great skin and I remember thinking he sure does take good care of his or else his makeup that day was flawless. He also has a great smile and a contagious laugh – sort of like a little kid.

its her only way out to save the man he loves and to make it possible for him to do his duties again towards the king .She knows whats shes doing but the thing is this what makes the story exciting , we all want a happy ending but we forget to read between lines what matters the most is that right choices are made for all the good reasons there is .So lets wait , enjoy and let the story captivates us all the way .
I agree. She’s already said that she doesn’t want him to go fight and die, so she’s doing anything she can to keep him alive; even if it means being away from him. I’m pretty sure he will come to understand her reasons, though he won’t like it.
My baby is going to be mad!!! I don’t think Young will ever understand ES’s reasoning to hand herself over the the baddies in order to protect Young. Young is always about HIS own self-sacrifice…not others doing it for him. He’s a stubborn warrior who take his promises seriously…to protect and return ES to heaven safely. All their self-sacrificing for each other is killing me…. When will these two realize they LOVE each other?
I think they already realized it to themselves, but not to each other. They pretty much said it when they both confessed they wouldn’t be okay when she left. He sat up and stared at her silhouette because he didn’t know she felt that way. I’m hoping he just comes out and says he loves her next episode & that’s why he wants her by his side all the time.
He is ALPHA male types..So obviously its only HIM that he will think about.
I think even EUn Soo knows this as she yells at him in ep 12.

I think Young is old fashion (putting it mildly) and Asian culture is traditionally not an overtly physically affectionate culture (I’m Asian so I can say this I guess…LOL), so it would be realistic if he never kissed ES…but ES is a modern woman, so she could plant that one TENDER KISS ON THE LIPS ON THAT MACHO MAN!!! Lol!

Yeah, I was super hopeful when ES and CY tried to flee together but the DH the D-bag had to poison ES so that stopped their road trip on its track! It would have been nice to get 1 full episode of them just hanging out like a regular couple 🙂
But one full episode of that would ruin the pace of this drama and would be uncharacteristic of the general tone of this drama. but yes, our love of this couple has us wanting more happiness for them.

I don t know if this is true but a few days ago i read in the web (Viki channel) that General Choi Young was very much in love with his wife and It seems that the stele at his tomb shows that his wife’s last name was Yoo (first name is unknown). And it apparently Faith´s writer changed the female lead’s name to Yoo Eun Soo (before the publicity showed “Jeon Eun Soo”)…
If this is true… maybe we will have a happy ending. Hope so!
It is true that his wife’s last name was Yoo, but no one knows what her first name was. I did read that same spoiler on Viki & began to wonder why they changed her name from Jeon to Yoo, perhaps it is a clue to their possible happy ending.

If I’m not mistaken, Gongmin never had any kids. The king after him was the start of the Joseon Dynasty. So CY’s daughter married that king. If in fact they are going off of that, then maybe we’ll get a “20 years later” kind of thing showing them married with kids lol

sorry Joonni, I feel so bad that your written preview post got off topic cuz I saw LMH. I thought you read my two celebrity sightings post on Blue’s blog already. If it’s any consolation, it might not look as good now cuz back then he was chubbier. When LMH isn’t doing any dramas, he lets himself go and the first place he gains weight is his face and stuff. I heard he lost 7 kg cuz of faith so maybe it’s less “bubbly” now. 🙂

What I like about LMH is his killer smile and his contagious laugh as Softy said like a little kid, innocent and genuine. With all his fame, he still seems so real and spontaneous.

Uh, huh…you know you love a drama when you even love the baddies! Faith’s characters are so lovable and charismatic and that’s the best element of storytelling ever! I loved KC too in that scene, but then again I think about what he did to his toy/painter, cut off hands and clawed out eyeballs, and I have to reconsider… But he’s so kooky sometimes, I forget his potential evilness….
