Eun-soo stays together with Choi Young as a Woodalchi member. Ki Chul, who is furious with the betrayal, uses Deok Heung to plan an attack on the palace, while Gongmin prepares to attack the domestic party that supports Yuan. Choi Young’s heart, which desires to keep Eun-soo by his side, grows more anxious as each day passes.
Woah, does that mean we might have a slight possibility that Young is going to ask Eun-soo to stay? I can just imagine the scenarios…well no. Brain is too tired right now but can you guys?
I’m surprised that Gongmin’s next plan of action is to fight the the domestic party that supports Yuan, not that because it doesn’t make sense, because it absolutely does, but because I guess I was expecting something a bit more epic in the final episodes. Like a huge battle scene between Yuan and Goryeo with Young in the lead. But I guess this drama is going to keep the conflict small-scale and domestic as it has done all throughout the drama, which makes sense narratively and production budget wise.

yes I read it in one article & it is also posted on their faith fb account that doctor jangbin is out of d following episodes until it end bcoz of eye injury & he is sched for operation nxtwk..I think he will not it even until lastep..hoping for his immediate recovery.. so sad bcoz he also hav special power & can help CY to fight baddies on d lst part.. hope d director/writer will replace much better storyline for treating ES..

Actually I can’t help but feel like JB’s role in the drama had been slowly diminishing in the later episodes even before the eye injury. He hardly appeared. Wonder if the eye injury is real since the cause of it is unknown or if he just wants out of the drama. There’s hardly any role for him to play since the story is mostly centred on CY ES KC GM NG DH and SY now. Even hwasooin and eumja’s role has dissipated to a very minor one.

I honestly can’t imagine Young asking her to stay but I do believe he will admit that’s his true desire, at this point. Either way, I hope it feels organic and within character. A large part of me would love to hear those words from him but a greater portion hopes he never utters them.

I wish for them to live happily ever raising little woodalchi juniors. I will hurt someone if we get the ‘see each other once a full moon’ crap!!!!
I totally agree with you…a final battle between Yuan and Goryeo with our General & his woodalchi puppies (minus Imja…no offense heavenly doctor) leading the pack would be so epic.

But if she won’t go back to 2012 Seoul, she won’t get cured of her poison..I wonder how the writer will go about on this..
I’m also thinking how Imja will cure her poison.
Two possibilities come to mind.
1. the King wannabe DK poisons her again with another kind of poison which then counteract with the fly insect poison (old method i see in chinese movies…haha).
2. what most of you have brought up and that is the future ES hid the antidote somewhere Imja will find by fate

HI there, can’t resist to not comment here, hope you don’t mind. How about ES does go back for a little while to the modern time to get cured, get all needed info on medicines, then jumped back into 100 yrs before SY time to finish up all that she needed to do (read: had done), jumped back to modern time to check history on SY and saw herself in the new version of history after her “medling” that she now was his wife, thus happily jumped back into the gate to SY goryeo time and meet him there (this time well prepared with all needed notes on medicines etc that would be applicable to goryeo time). kyaaa can’t imagine his happy face meeting here again after being left for awhile. (does it say how long the gate opens? at least it should be days right? maybe she jumps back just as d door starts to close?). You think this makes sense? well, one can only hope hee hee.

Lee Philip Exits ‘Faith’ Due to an Eye Injury
Actor Lee Philip has departed from SBS’ Faith.

On October 19, Faith’s producers revealed the news saying, “Lee Philip has left the production due to an eye injury. Lee Philip is currently recovering and is planning to be admitted to a hospital next week to receive surgery.”
The production added, “As shooting was difficult to be done with the injury, [Lee Philip] decided to depart. He has gone through much with us for a long time now and it is regrettable he has to leave this way. We are sad we cannot shoot together till the end.”
Lee Philip had been playing the role of Jang Bin, Goryeo Dynasty’s finest medical doctor and skilled martial arts warrior.
Lee Philip also expressed his regrets saying, “My heart is heavy to have to depart with only a few episodes left before the end. Above all, I want to express my apology to all the viewers who have loved Faith. I will work hard to quickly return in a better appearance.”
The exact cause and extent of the eye injury is unknown at this time.
I’m sad not to see him for the last few episodes! He was one hot doctor. He is the dr. Dreamy from Goryeo Dynasty. I wish him a fast recovery!<3 I am sure he will be gr8 in his other projects. Loved him in Secret Garden! Need to see his other dramas!

I believed they had to make the soul of
the young guy wake up… That would have been a bit akward and funny… A lot of loose ends… You don’t know what happened to the ex fiance/ doctor at the end… It wa rushed….

yeah! exactly! It was so absurd! – They just end it like that for the sake of ending the story. They didn’t give any justice to the story. It was really terrible I was really expecting a good ending. The young boy never showed up again and even suzy. lol
ei guys! hehe i also watched big..the guy on the ending part was actually the young guy that woke up that has grown mature already..they’re twins, so he definitely had the same looks with the doctor..the disappointing part of the drama is that they hurriedly end the story without showing how the doctor’s life had been after his younger bro had awaken..

I have been browsing this site for months now. Really happy just by seeing everyone’s opinion written here. Every day I never fail to check this site.Just like everyone here, this became a “HARD HABIT TO BREAK”. I love this drama not just because of LMH & KHS, but because as a whole, this drama tackles about loyalty, friendship, sacrifices, the consequences one encounters for his/her decision, how to gain respect, how to hold on to emotions for the benefit of many,and most especially LOVE.
How could we forget the characters on this k-drama if all of them really shared a lot to make the this series a very good one. It is really addicting! When Monday & Tuesday comes, we all like it to be Monday again. Every night i have to re-watch past episodes while waiting for the next episode. My day will not be complete if I cannot see any new tidbits for Faith, any new tidbits from all of you here guys.

He backed her up against the pillar/wall…said “Otoke”…and put his right hand against it and leaned in to talk to her…OMG…what a hot sexy scene that was. Never thought “Otoke” would sound sooooo sexy. Boy, I need a shower (**fanning myself*** since there’s no shower at work).

somehow i dont think we are going to get a kiss scene let alone the scene i dreamed up in one of my comments…the writer seems to allow CY to display his emotions only at epic moments…she’s dragging it out for us so that when the emotions are displayed by CY, its so much more ’emotional’…
am thinking perhaps the 3rd item might actually be something that convinces ES to remain behind with CY…also her antidoe…perhaps the writer will have the future ES leaving an antidode for ES at the right moment?

I hope they don’t just say, “Yeah, poor Dr. Jang Bin died in the crossfire during the epic battle between Young and KC”. What a waste of talent. They totally downplayed Philip Lee (he’s American so I like to say first name and then last) in Faith, especially since he’s trained to do onscreen martial arts (from what I’ve heard). Plus, he’s like been ES’s best friend and to see them not to be able to say goodbye is sad.
Even though his role was minor, I loved seeing his interactions with ES.( Loved him in Secret Garden.) He didn’t look well the last time he appeared… Was it maybe in the bts? I don’t know…his facial expression reminded me of Kim Hyun Joongs facial expressions in BBF after his accident…he was acting (due to the crazy schedule), but all the while he was in pain. Hope he gets well soon!

omo!!! at last woodalchi dae jang isn’t the reserved type already..he’s giving it all out for his imja..i’m so excited to see them sleeping in the same room..haha! i just knew it they won’t have a decent sleep feeling anxious with each others presence..
about eun soo’s health, without the presence of royal doctor jang..choi young we’ll have no choice but to bring her back to the heaven’s world for her to get cured after that he will definitely have to decide to go back to goryeo, if the writer would really stick with the flow of history and the best part of it, eun soo’s heart will grow fonder towards dae jang and that she can’t bear to be apart from him again and that she’ll have to follow back him to goryeo and stay forever by his side for good..
hmmm! i really wanted to see an epic battle between goryeo and yuan, then CY against Ki Chul and of course, a happy ending for our imja couple!

Awww…my poor baby, Choi Young. I am sure he would never utter the selfish words “Please stay with me, Imja”. We know our taciturn general; he communicates via action/body language and doesn’t waste time on words.
His eyes will be pleading and crying out to her, “JUST STAY WITH ME, IMJA. I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!”
I’m sure it’ll be heartbreaking to witness the way he longingly gazes at her, tenderly holds her hand and softly strokes her hair! *Sobs X 1 million*
I think ES will have to return to present day because how else would she know if she’s set history on its right course/get antidote (hopefully future ES stashed it somewhere in Goryeo)? It this is the case, how will our crazy heroine return to Goryeo?
I hope Faith doesn’t have a cheesy ending, like time resets and goes to square one where Young comes through the solar flare and interrupts her seminar while she’s teaching. But this time, she retains her memory. Bleh! This would be a cop out, almost as bad as reincarnation solution and make me hate the writer/director! LOL!

It wasn’t a 😦 in my opinion. I thought it was very fitting although I could see why it upset and confused people.
Ah! All these possible endings are killing me. I’ve never had to think about an ending this much and I think if I speculate more, I’m going to be disappointed no matter what. So I’m gonna stop.
Like Gukja mentioned above, I think the chest that DH hid under the throne will have some answers that will help ES make a decision, about her poison, as well as whether or not she should stay. So far, the things she has left behind have basically helped her to save CY. I think the last one will do the same, both physically and emotionally. He has to become the great warrior that history writes about. She will be the key in helping him become that.
I wish the last four episodes were 2 hours long, each, instead of one hour. How I will miss this drama when it ends!

I still await that Eun Soo reveal some more and shares that with Choi Young, that fact about her being a time-traveler… this will definitly influence the moves of Choi Young… and we will see some more of the IMJA couple, romance-wise (as we wish adn want so much…)

With all these talks of war, I wonder who of the side characters will be dying next. Maybe they will insinuate that Dr. Jang Bin was murdered, and use that as fodder for the impending war. Also, did I hear it right that the Yuan envoy say he would be looking for ES soon? I think he truly may be sick, as was previously speculated.
CY must feel anxious wondering how he is going to transport her to the wormhole, while staying by Gongnims side, since he is probably still extremely guilty for having left them previously after wht happened to the queen. P.S? Thanks for the preview, Joonni. 🙂
Young’s feelings of personal guilt is never ending…
You know, we were only shown one side of the story in ep 20.
Future ES said that because CY escorted her to the heaven’s gates, he wasn’t there to save NG who died and G crumbled and CY felt so guilty he became a broken man.
So, what if the opposite happens-ES dies because 1: Since they turned back, she didn’t make it to Heaven’s gate in time because she died without the antidote or 2: Since they turned back, she was killed by Yuan, KC or DH. Now, how would CY feel in this case? Do you think he’d feel any worse than as if he didn’t save NG but safely returned ES to the present time?
These two lovebirds are so frustrating! Of course present ES wouldn’t ever tell Young about the price (going back to save NG even it is is the last day of her life) she is making herself pay by not going to heaven’s gate STAT.
You know, I think Young would be in worse shape if ES does end up dying in Goryeo…she’s just too “oh, I’m sacrificing myself for Young’s sake” when her death would be worse for him than NG dying but of course she’d never see this.

On the flip side, Young is super emo so I don’t know if ES’s death will make him or break him. He might just do repeat #2: “live hazardously and sleep to ruin”.

I thought that might be the case …especially since at the beginning ep 1 a great king became ill, and wanted hwata since he was cured. That is what made me think when the Yuan envoy came into the pic that he might be sick. And you are right-the look he gave her after he realized she really was a skilled doctor, and “bewitcher”, he seemed yo want to see her for her services.
Say this is true so the ending looks like this:
ES cures Yuan envoy who then recommends Yuan to leave Goryeo/Gongmin alone; KC kills DH; Young kills KC; 3rd Hwata items heals ES (or future ES leaves antibiotic somewhere) and she stays in Goryeo and makes a ton of babies with Young! This is my happy ending 🙂

The only funny part in Ep 20 was when ES mouthed the words “Sorry” to KC when she admitted she wasn’t from heaven. LOL! Oh, and when to Woodalchi were caught eavesdropping at the end. Lol! I love those boys! *Sigh* Faith will be the death of us!!!
Yeah Pam, am re-watching those funny scenes again & again, the way Young knock down a guard twice when he was following Eun Soo secretly, the scene when when he shooing away D guys( dae man & doek man), his moments with gay suribang, when he was in hurry to finish his works to meet Eun Soo after kiss;) …..etc….. all those are very funny…. i have thought about it also..that a part in the 4 remaining episodes will somehow depict the cartoon intro of the drama..however, i’m doubtful also since the person referred to as hwata came out to be a man..what i’m thinking is hwata might be a teacher/professor of ES that taught her about time traveling, and that ES tried it once ’til she got fond of it. until something happened in her time travel that is about choi young that may cause a twist in history and because she got so attached with him that she had to came back til she get to correct the mistakes she had done..
and it really might be true that hwata is her teacher since KC once mentioned in the previous episode that once in every 100 yrs?? (i kinda forgot the number of years he said), a disciple of hwata visits goryeo..this disciple might be the same eun soo that keeps on coming back just to save choi young and her love for him..
somehow, i’m having a clear vision of the ending that they’ll be together for good..since the purpose of eun soo’s time travels, is to save him and to cherish the love that she had for him..
well, it was just a thought hehe..we’ll never really know til we get to the last episode..

Jo Il-shin said that it is said Hwata sends a disciple every three hundred years. At this point, I have no idea what to think of that.
there’s nothing shown on the drama yet that will unleash the real identity of Hwata and i really doubt that Hwata and ES are the same person..
One thing is bothering me- we still don’t know what DH has up his sleeve with all the (?)meds/herbs/posion that the suribang reported him buying. I’m sure this is all going come to light in the next two eps. His demise is going to be welcome by one and all…
Oh and here I thought those were sleeping herbs he used on our Queen. I can see more poisoning coming our way. Yeah, I can imagine Evil Uncle asking Mr. Devil to join Team Uncle in hell…

“…uses Deok Heung to plan an attack on the palace”, so KC is “using” that snake (making him believe they´re working together… but not!) maybe he (DH) will die on EP21 b/c he´s sending him as bait… hope so.
“Choi Young’s heart, which desires to keep Eun-soo by his side, grows more anxious as each day passes”… Yay! I think we´ll see CY… angry with himself, frustrated and eager to seize each moment with his imja ❤ Yay! Looking fwd to see that! (CY is so hot when his frustrated and angry LOL)
Regarding Dr. Jang (btw, so sad about Phillip Lee :(, wishing him that the operation goes well), I believe that the writer/ PD will kill his character. maybe that was shot as his last performance before quitting definitely set.
About the antidote, I´m expecting that there is another note (hidden in 3er relic or hidden by DH in that box) that will explain to ES how to prepare it in Gorgyeo (she´s a scientist it should be easy for her to prepare it knowing the formula). Does it make sense for you girls?

I guess they have to step up ES role even more in his absence. Will he really be completely out of the show? Or will he be able to join maybe the last 2 episodes or even the last episode?
I guess after the last episode CY have gotten some love from ES and he’s more attached to her than ever…so he doesn’t wanna let her go LOL
One thing that can make both of them, CY and ES stay together. The only solution is, CY please make ES pregnant. I don’t mind go into the time portal and send ES all the antibiotics and bring back my Dae Man heh!

4 eps to go, wandering how’s the ending like. Part of my heart want me to jump straight to ep 24 but the other half said that fear to know the ending, afraid it wont satisfy me like most korean dramas did to me.
Of cos l want them to be together but l want it to be in modern era not Goryeo’s time. If ES stays, it fulfil majority’s prediction and hopes that they are together at last, but it will satifying if may be ES found CY in modern era, or whatever, as long as they in the modern time. Arrgghh…l’m crazy here.
